Een mooie ladekast van het genre Empire. De Empire stijl periode was aan het begin van de 19de eeuw zeer populair in Frankrijk. Dit ladekastje is geinspireerd op deze stijlperiode. Dit is bijvoorbeeld te zien aan de 2 zwarte zuilen met koperen fraai gedecoreerde ring aan weerszijden van de lades. De bovenste lade steekt wat naar voren in vergelijking met de andere lades. Hierdoor ontstaat een mooi en voornaam effect wat de ladekast een bijzondere uitstraling geeft. Het ladekastje heeft kleine beschadigingen. Het ene zit in aan de achterkant van het kastje en aan de linkerpunt van het bovenblad. Het andere zit op de tweede lade en is alleen te zien als de lade geopend is.
