Een antieke Chinese hangende scroll met draak en tijger symbolen. Het schilderij is getekend op washi-papier en daarna op een twee meter lange rol geplakt. Het heeft bij de leeftijd horende gebruikerssporen. Deze Chinese schilderij is in de traditionele stijl, de guohua, gemaakt. Kenmerkend zijn de verticale inscripties en zegels op de scroll. Vanuit de Chinese traditie wordt een hangende rol slechts voor beperkte tijd opgehangen en daarna weer opgerold.
